February 1, 2015 - Happy Birthday Orrin. Mom made you a doggy-friendly b-day cake (and yes, that is bacon and peanuts in the cream cheese icing)

*EXTRA* February 8, 2015 - Whig-Standard staff reporter Steph Crosier jumped right in for the 2015 Ontario Law Enforcements Polar Plunge for Special Olympics.  I offered to shoot the event when she was able to get fellow reporters to sponsor the entry fee.

February 10, 2015 - Students from Ms. Graham's Grade-6 class at Perth Road Public School show off their finished e-textile projects on Tuesday February 10, 2015. Through designing and sewing their individual projects, the students learn about stress management, community building and methods to use when developing new skills.
February 11, 2015 - Shout Sister choir manager Nancy Greig, left, and creator Georgette Fry pose for a photo in Greig's home in Kingston on Wednesday. Since it started in 2002, Shout Sister has expanded into 17 different chapter choirs with more than 1,000 members, across Ontario.

February 13, 2015 - Mackenzie Lockett-Hiemstra, right, and Takami Miller lead a group of students into James R. Henderson Public School as part of the schools Walking School Bus program in Kingston, Ont. on Friday. The program runs four mornings a week and give students the chance to get some exercise along with help with the traffic congestion problems at the school in the mornings.
February 14, 2015 - Happy Valentines Day.  All I got was a fever and confirmation I had influenza (even after getting a flu shot).  At least the big snow flakes looked pretty.

February 24, 2015 - Kingston Fire and Rescue responded to a building fire inside J. Harrison Excavating and Pipeline Ltd off Terry Fox Drive on Steve Fonyo Drive. No one was in the building at the time of the blaze, which included black smoke and a strong burnt rubber smell.
February 25, 2015 - Kingston filmmakers Brent Nurse, left, and Leigh Ann Bellamy, seen here in Memorial Hall on Wednesday February 25, 2015, each have their first feature film screening in the Kingston Canadian Film Festival on Saturday, Nurse with The Stronghold and Bellamy with Fault.
