December 01, 2018 – grouting my turtle - learning lots of new skills

December 05, 2018 – The fourth annual 'Shop with a Cop' Kingston Police initiative saw 17 local Grade 7 and 8 youth get the opportunity to shop with two Kingston Police Officers each, after being selected from the 147 youth that applied, by answering the question, "What did I do this year to get on Santa's nice list?, and spend $200 in gift cards at the stores within the Cataraqui Centre and receive a free book for themselves, and everyone on their list, from Indigo/Starbucks to help purchase gifts for their families this holiday season. December 11, 2018 – The Limestone District School Board advised parents, staff and the community that the opening of the Kingston Secondary School has been delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, in a letter on Monday. The construction continues as the snow flies at the Kirkpatrick Street 
December 12, 2018 – Michelle Kasaboski, a local jazz singer seen here in Kingston on December 12, will be performing in the 2nd annual A Michelle Kasaboski Christmas at The Grand Theatre on December 16 at 4:30 p.m.

December 21, 2018 – "It's simple, we've got potatoes," said Phillip Helpard, left, manager of the Kingston Smoke's Poutinerie. That's how the Partners in Mission Food Bank ended up receiving 1,500 pounds of potatoes from Smoke's Poutinerie in Kingston, Ont. on Friday, December 21, 2018. After a radio interview, Helpard got a call from Glen Roberts, right, logistics manager with Spearhead Brewing Company offering the use of his truck to help deliver the heavy load of spuds, two flats worth, which was accepted by food bank executive director Sandy Singers, middle and Tony Mader, (not shown) operations manager, to be shared with those looking to the food bank for help this holiday season.

December 24, 2018 – A friendly white-breasted nuthatch picks through the selection of seeds in a young man's hand at Lemoine Point Conservation Area in Kingston, Ont. on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018. The light flurries throughout the day didn't keep people away from taking a stroll through the local park.
