365 - December 2013
It's coming to the end of this year long challenge - 24 days go to. I don't know if I'll continue on into the new year but I've come to appreciate the focus, attention to detail and creative eye it's helped me develop.
Things to look forward to this month:
Working - I can't believe they're paying me to do what I love to do
Playing
Operation Red Nose
My Birthday
Holidays - Christmas & New Years
As of December 24th I've finished my 365, so while I'm not sure I'll continue the challenge, I do plan to complete the month of December.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!

68th College Photographer of the Year competition
This past October I entered my portfolio, two multimedia videos, 1 multiple picture story and a handful of single shots in the 68th College Photographer of the Year competition. It's an international competition for work completed by students in 2012. This years competition had 18 categories with over 600 student participants from over 19 countries.
And my spot news photo was selected for an award of excellence.

But above and beyond that the recognition is even sweeter when you get to represent an awesome program like Photojournalism at Loyalist College. :D
