July 01, 2016 - The 2016 Red and White People parade makes it way down the newly re-opened Princess Street, to City Hall for the Canada Day celebrations in Kingston
*EXTRA* July 01, 2016 - Virginia Weese, a Grade 11 student at Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic High School, is awarded the 2016 Mayor’s Award for Youth Volunteerism outside City Hall  in Kingston, Ont. on Friday July 1, 2016. Weese was recognized for her work in helping fundraise $10,000 to help bring a Syrian refugee family to Kingston.
July 02, 2016 - Deborah Durbin, KingWolf Swim founder and director, watches the more than 40 swimmers take off for the 4.7 kilometre open water race from Kingston to Wolfe Island, from the boat launch beside 23 Ontario Street in Kingston.  All 42 swimmers, ages 13-70, finished the race.

*EXTRA* July 06, 2016 - Diana McDonald, from the Loyalist Country Club, finishes in sixth place with a 76 for the day, finishing 9 over par for the tournament, and is the top local player to finish in the 2016 Ontario U19 Junior Girls' Championship at the Loyalist Country Club in Bath

July 12, 2016 - Residents and visitors at the Kingsdale Chateau were treated to a little friendly and tasty competition with house chef, Jonathan Dionne, competing against guest chef, Bruce Elder, not shown, in the annual Watermelon Challenge in Kingston, Ont. on Tuesday July 12, 2016. Dionne made a savoury shrimp dish with watermelon, while Elder made a watermelon cake where the cake layers are replaced by slabs of watermelon.
July 13, 2016 - Elementary teachers learn about iPad and green screen apps, numeracy, kindergarten curriculum changes and inquiry based learning, during the ETFO Limestone Summer Academy held at Lancaster Drive Public School in Kingston, Ont. on Wednesday July 13, 2016. July 29, 2016 - Kingston Fire and Rescue quickly put out the flames when a truck caught fire behind the Habitat for Humanity Restore located on Bath Road, near Portsmouth Avenue, in Kingston, Ont. on Friday July 29, 2016. The driver of the truck was loading up a storage bin full of e-waste when the the cab caught fire, suspected to be caused by mechanical issues. No injuries were reported.
