365 - June 2016

I'm really enjoying the warmer, sunnier weather.
It's nice, that when you want to leave the house you can just go, no extra layers or warmer shoes needed.

Things to look forward to in June:
- More camping and girl guide events
- My parents 40th wedding anniversary
- Finally making it to a fastball game
- Spring cleaning and opening the windows (and then central air)
- Movies in Market Square
- Birthdays - John and my mom
- and lots more....

June 13, 2016 - Students at St. Patrick Catholic School enjoy spending their recess working on the Milk Bag Mat Project by cutting, tying and weaving more than 10,000 milk bags into child sized mats together to send overseas in Harrowsmith, Ont. on Monday June 13, 2016. The 230 students and organizers are looking to make 100 mats before the end of the school year.
*EXTRA* June 13, 2016 - Just after 6 p.m. Monday evening Kingston Fire and Rescue and Frontenac Paramedics were called a water rescue at the bottom of John Counter Boulevard, at Montreal Street, after two men in a canoe capsized in the Cataraqui River in Kingston, Ont. on Monday June 13, 2016. One man was able to swim to shore while the other needed to be rescued by the emergency personal. Both were taken from the scene by ambulance.
