May 23, 2016 - Lake Ontario Park was the place to be on the Victoria Day holiday, with people of all ages packing the park all afternoon to celebrate. Many brought a picnic lunch to take advantage of the beautifully sunny weather, while others chose to eat from the variety of food trucks on site. For the youngsters there was face painting, balloon art, bouncy castles, and fun on the splash pad. The day also included live music, arts and crafts, and good food for all to enjoy. The line ups for ice cream were long and the canine lure course ran smoothly. Although there were many mayflies around, they didn’t stop everyone from taking in the sun and fun to be had by all on Monday |
