365 - April 2014

It's been a bit of a blue March for me so I'm hoping that the lion/lamb analogy is true and that the April rain will bring out the colourful flowers and sunny days.

Things to look forward to in April:
- Easter, along with the egg hunts
- A nine-year old's mad scientist birthday party
- The return of Orphan Black
- Earth Day
- CPOY Award. Don't think I'll be able to make the trek to Washington DC

April 20, 2014 - Even the cold breeze off Lake Ontario at Breakwater Park didn't stop people from getting out to enjoy the Easter weekend sunshine on Sunday.

April 24, 2014 - It's only 9 months late but I'm soooooo happy it's finally here.
April 25, 3014 - Pitch In Kingston
*EXTRA* April 25, 3014 - Pitch In Kingston
April 26, 2014 - Magdalene Wilson (837), a 9 year-old from Winston Church Public School, and Ella McShane (820), a 12-year old from Lancaster Public School gave it all they had during the Start2Finish Kids 3k race held in City Park on Saturday April 26, 2014.  Hosted by the Kingston Road Runners Association, the race saw 31 kids participate in the fun run, which was a part of the Limestone Race Weekend.

April 27, 2014 - The Limestone Race Weekend wrapped up on Sunday, April 27, 2014,
with close to 400 runners participating in the 5k and half-marathon races

April 30, 2014 - Roger Eccleston (left) and Tom Stewart play around with a few of the many instruments available at the Joe Chithalen Memorial Musical Instrument Lending Library located in the Robert Meek Community Youth Centre on Bagot Street.
