November 1, 2014 - The streets were lined with children of all ages to watch the annual Amherstview Lion Club Santa Claus Parade on Saturday November 1, 2014. It's the first parade of the season and is a fundraiser for the Lions Club Christmas Hampers program, which helps provide much needed food to families during the holiday season. |

November 2, 2014 - Kingston Fire and Rescue, Kingston Police and Frontenac County paramedics responded to a structure fire just after 2:30 p.m. on the 700 block on Montreal Street on Sunday November 2, 2014. Witnesses reported seeing thick black smoke coming from the back of the structure. Two pets, a dog and a snake, were rescued and returned to their owners. No injuries were reported and the damage is estimated at $143,000. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. |

November 5, 2014 - Five-person teams participated in the 3rd annual RMC/United Way Waterborne Obstacle Course Challenge at the Kingston Military Community Sports Centre Pool on Wednesday November 5, 2014. The event is based on training third year cadets receive and all the money raised will go the the United Way. |
