365 - June 2015

SUNSHINE IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!

Even though we've had some "zipper" weather recently (hot then freezing and back again) I'm just glad I don't have to wear extra layers, boots and more.

Spring cleaning and opening the windows (and then central air)
Using my new Fitbit Charge (I had a flex before)
CAMPING!!!!! (I missed out last year)

June 5, 2015 - Grade 7 and 8 students from Frontenac Public School enjoy the fruits of their labour after spending the morning making burgers, chips, and all the fixings at Burger Club held at Essence Restaurant at St. Lawrence College in Kingston, Ont. on Friday June 5, 2015. The pilot program is the extension of the Enactus St. Lawrence College's Slow Cookers for Kids program that looks to teach food and financial literacy to youth in a new way.

June 9, 2015 - Debra Rantz has been announced as the incoming Director of Education for the Limestone District School Board, in Kingston, Ont. on Tuesday June 9, 2015. Rantz will take over from retiring Brenda Hunter starting Aug 4, 2015.

June 11, 2015 - Kingston west-end homeowner, Martin Skolnick looks over a large pile of garbage, including car parts, that has been illegally dumped on the Bayview Bog conservation property, along the top of Coronation and Taylor Kidd boulevards, on Thursday June 11, 2015. Skolnick and his neighbours have seen an increase in garbage dumped on their property in recent years.
