October 04, 2017 - Five teachers at Sir John A Macdonald Public School got a 'pie' in the face by Principal Marina Pinder on Wednesday, October 4, after their classes raised the most money for the schools Terry Fox Run last week. The 785 students at the east end Kingston school raised a grand total of $10,366.70, doubling their goal of $5,000. |

October 05, 2017 - Students at Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School get to try out the new city pedestrian crossover installed on Woodbine Road outside the west-end school in Kingston, Ont. on Thursday October 5, 2017. There are now nine pedestrian crossovers throughout the city. A fine for not yielding to a pedestrian when the lights are flashing is $150 to $500 and three demerit points.
