| December 01, 2017 – Students is Eric Jacques's Grade 5/6 french immersion class at J.R. Henderson Public School pose for a photo with their jingle bells and the school mascot Greeny at the end of the 17th annual Jingle Bell Walk in support of the KFL&A Public Health and the local Food Bank in Kingston, Ont. on Friday December 1, 2017. Jacque challenged his class to donate enough food that weighed more than him, which they were close to, bringing in 130 pounds of food. More than 16,000 students and staff from 64 schools in Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington took part in the active annual event. |
