October 04, 2018 – The students and staff at Sir John A Macdonald Public School cheer as their Terry Fox Run committee reveals the grand total of $13,140.35 raised, which exceeds their goal of $11,000, in Kingston, Ont. on Thursday, October 4, 2018. By exceeding their goal, the classes who raised the most got to see their teachers get a cream pie in the face.  As well, a number of teachers, and one student, either shaved, coloured or cut their hair to donate.

Halinaty chose the colour green for their new free portable ramp. 
*EXTRA* October 11, 2018 – Grade 2/3 and 5/6 students from St. Martha's Catholic School took a walking tour of downtown in Kingston, Ont. on Thursday October 11, 2018 to do an 'accessibility audit' and for businesses with a single step at its entrance, like Heel Boy on Princess St., and the student went in and offering a free portable ramp to allow the businesses to become barrier-free.
