| December 05, 2018 – The fourth annual 'Shop with a Cop' Kingston Police initiative saw 17 local Grade 7 and 8 youth get the opportunity to shop with two Kingston Police Officers each, after being selected from the 147 youth that applied, by answering the question, "What did I do this year to get on Santa's nice list?, and spend $200 in gift cards at the stores within the Cataraqui Centre and receive a free book for themselves, and everyone on their list, from Indigo/Starbucks to help purchase gifts for their families this holiday season. That's how the Partners in Mission Food Bank ended up receiving 1,500 pounds of potatoes from Smoke's Poutinerie in Kingston, Ont. on Friday, December 21, 2018.
