Today was my last day on The Pioneer (school newspaper). Next week I have my last classes and the following week is our 1-on-1 exit portfolio meetings and then I'm off to my internships. Normally we get a few days to work on a story and collect our interviews, photos and research.
Here's how today went:
Assigned the new story just after 10 a.m.
Interview set for just after 11 a.m.
Back in the newsroom just after 12 p.m.
Story written and edited just after 3:30 p.m.
